How to Audit Your Website with the Rank Math SEO Analyzer
- In WordPress, go to Rank Math SEO → SEO Analyzer.
- Click Start SEO Analyzer to begin the audit. This runs tests on:
- Basic and advanced SEO
- Performance
- Security
- Wait a few moments—Rank Math will display an overall SEO score and detailed results categorized by priority, basic SEO, advanced SEO, performance, and security.
- Under Failed Tests, click the How to fix button next to any issue to see instructions and guidance to resolve it.
Consider printing or exporting the audit via the Print button. You can also save it as a PDF to review later.
Prioritizing Your Improvements
The analyzer provides this visual color‑coded system:
- = Critical fixes
- = Recommended optimizations

Begin with:
- Meta tags (title, description)
- Heading structure
- Internal/external link ratios

Using the Competitor Analyzer
- Navigate to Rank Math SEO → SEO Analyzer → Competitor Analyzer
- Enter your competitor’s webpage URL.
- Click Start Audit
- Once results appear, click the side‑by‑side comparison icon to compare your site vs. theirs.
You’ll be able to scroll down and compare all of the metrics from your site’s SEO analysis side by side with your competitor’s! Use these insights to close gaps or differentiate your strategy.
